Celebrating Older Americans Month
May is Older Americans Month and a great time to remind our friends of the support services we offer to senior Arizona residents every day! At Santé, we pride ourselves in being a step above the rest by providing the most beautiful, comfortable rooms in our short-term rehab facilities and the most experienced, compassionate staff throughout all of our locations and service offerings.
We meet many of our patients for the first time as patients in our rehabilitation program, designed to provide a hands-on role in their recovery from injury, surgery, or illness. We use state-of-the-art equipment and therapists with extensive experience in the field to support patients as they pursue their treatment goals. Because we establish long-term relationships with our patients in short-term rehab, they often come back to us when they need ongoing support services.
Santé employs a robust team of dedicated home health caregivers, therapists, and nurses, each focused on keeping patients safe, comfortable, and as independent as possible in their own homes. Our home health services include assistance with dressing, bathing, hygiene, housework, medication administration, vitals monitoring, errands, medical treatments, and more.
Palliative and Hospice Care
Finally, Santé has well-developed palliative and hospice care programs, both of which provide gentle, compassionate care focused on alleviation of symptoms and improved quality of life for the patient. Many patients and their loved ones ask us about the difference between palliative and hospice care. In short, palliative care focuses on alleviating pain and other symptoms for patients with a wide variety of chronic diseases, while hospice care focuses on improving comfort and alleviating symptoms for patients with a life-limiting diagnosis. Both services focus on the whole patient whether healing or comfort are the ultimate goal.
At Santé, we work diligently to celebrate and support older Americans every day. To learn more about how we can serve you, please contact us here.< Back to Library
