Reflections on 2015
As we bid farewell to 2015 and prepare to usher in a brand new year, it’s only natural to reflect on the past 12 months. Each day we are surrounded by people—our guests, our associates and our partners—who remind us why we are here. And along the way, we have been fortunate enough to be presented opportunities to grow so that we can provide optimal care to more deserving individuals.
Looking back on 2015, here are some of our most memorable highlights:
- Breaking ground on our fifth transitional rehabilitation center, in Tucson. We introduced ourselves to the Tucson community at a well-attended groundbreaking ceremony earlier this year, and Tucson welcomed us with open arms. We’re thankful for the support we have received along the way from the area’s elected officials and business and healthcare leaders, and we look forward to opening our doors to guests next summer.
- Securing space for our sixth facility, in Glendale. This mixed-use medical and healthcare facility will be housed in an existing building in the Westgate area, which was constructed more than seven years ago and has never been occupied. It will include inpatient and outpatient physical, occupational and speech therapy, short-term rehabilitation skilled nursing care, assisted living services and Alzheimer and dementia care services.
- Providing care to 5,286 guests in our transitional rehabilitation centers and in their own homes. We’re so fortunate to have such a dedicated, skilled staff of experts that continue to provide the best care. And we’re so thankful for all of our guests who had a choice and chose Sante.
Every day, we’re thankful for the opportunity to live our mission: To provide the highest quality of care and customer satisfaction delivered with warmth, individual pride and team spirit.
In this time of reflection as we approach the New Year, we are determined to keep living our mission to the fullest.
